Gems of the Romantic Period
The Choral Guild of Atlanta opens its 69th season with a presentation of musical gems from the Romantic period.  Featured works and composers include:  Franz Schubert’s Mass in G for choir, chamber orchestra and soloists; Schubert’s Trout Quintet; Franz Liszt’s Sacred Pieces for choir; favorite choruses from Felix Mendelssohn’s Elijah; and motets for choir by Johannes Brahms.

The Choral Guild of Atlanta presents love songs from Europe.  Selected works include excerpts from Dvorak’s Moravian Love Duets, Brahms’ Leibeslieder Waltzes, French Chansons, and courtly madrigals from England and Italy.
