Director and Conductor
Clair Maxwell
Clair is originally from
Pennsylvania and received his training in Ohio where he earned his Bachelor of
Music Degree Summa Cum Laude
from the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music in Berea, and his Master of Music
degree, also Summa Cum Laude
from the Cleveland Institute of Music. He has continued his choral and
musical education at various venues and conferences including those at:
Montreat, NC; the Julliard School in NYC; Westminster Choir College in
Princeton, NJ; and other prestigious locations.
Clair has led diverse music and choir programs at various
churches in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New Jersey, and since 2007, has been
Director of Music and Organist at St. Luke’s
Presbyterian Church in Dunwoody. Clair is an accomplished organist as well
and has performed in many locations from New York to Paris. He is a member
of the American Choral Directors’ Association, the American Guild of Organists,
the Hymn Society of America, and other national music organizations.
